Abstract
The study examines bilateral variation in tongue dimensions among undergraduate students. The tongue is an important muscular organ involved in speech, mastication, swallowing, taste, and other oral functions. Although the tongue is generally considered a midline structure, variations in its dimensions and shape may occur, and assessment of measurable differences between corresponding sides may provide useful information on individual anatomical variation. The study will assess selected tongue dimensions among undergraduate students and determine the extent of bilateral variation in the measured parameters.
