Bilateral Asymmetry of Lower Limb Segment Lengths Among Young Adults

Abstract

The study examines bilateral asymmetry of lower limb segment lengths among young adults. The lower limbs are important anatomical structures involved in posture, balance, locomotion, and weight-bearing activities. Differences between corresponding measurements on the right and left sides may occur among individuals and may provide useful information about normal anatomical variation and lower limb proportions. The study will assess selected lower limb segment lengths, including thigh length, leg length, and other relevant segment measurements, among young adults. Corresponding measurements from the right and left lower limbs will be obtained using standardized anatomical landmarks and procedures.
