The study will also examine the sources of farmers’ indigenous agricultural knowledge and factors associated with their use of these methods. The study will focus on indigenous methods used for soil fertility management   Seed selection and preservation   Crop production   Pest and disease management   Weather prediction   Water management   Livestock production   Weed control   Harvesting   Storage   And post-harvest handling. It will also examine the roles of parents   Older farmers   Community members   Farmer groups   Traditional institutions   And agricultural extension agents in the acquisition and transmission of indigenous agricultural knowledge and practices. A quantitative research approach will be adopted for the study. Data will be collected from farmers using structured questionnaires designed to obtain information on their use of indigenous agricultural methods.
