Adults’ knowledge of electrical wiring materials refers to their ability to identify, describe, classify, and explain the functions and appropriate applications of materials used in electrical wiring. This may include knowledge of material types, sizes, functions, selection, handling, storage, and safe application. Vocational learning can strengthen this knowledge by combining relevant explanations with practical demonstrations and hands-on activities that enable adults to observe and distinguish between different wiring materials and understand their appropriate uses. The study will adopt a suitable descriptive survey research design. The research instruments will be subjected to appropriate validation procedures, while their reliability will be established before administration. Data collected will be analysed using relevant descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to determine the impact of vocational learning on adults’ knowledge of electrical wiring materials. The study is expected to establish that vocational learning can improve adults’ knowledge of electrical wiring materials. Adults exposed to structured vocational learning are expected to demonstrate better knowledge of material identification, functions, characteristics, selection, applications, and safety considerations. The findings may also indicate that practical demonstrations and supervised wiring activities enhance adults’ ability to distinguish between different electrical wiring materials and select appropriate materials for specific tasks. The study will conclude that vocational learning can provide an effective means of improving adults’ knowledge of electrical wiring materials. It will recommend that vocational learning programmes provide relevant wiring materials, practical demonstrations, material identification exercises, supervised workshop activities, and opportunities for repeated practice. Improved knowledge of electrical wiring materials may contribute to greater technical competence, safe work practices, employability, self-reliance, vocational development, and income-generating opportunities
