Abstract

Changes in disability termination rates may therefore affect the estimated financial obligations of insurers. This study will examine the effect of disability termination rates on insurance liability estimates. It will assess how variations in the rates at which disability claims terminate influence the actuarial estimation of future insurance liabilities.
