Relationship Between Chest Circumference and Body Height Among Young Adults

Abstract

The study examines the relationship between chest circumference and body height among young adults. Chest circumference is an important anthropometric measurement that provides information about thoracic size and body proportions, while body height is a fundamental measure used in the assessment of human growth, physical development, and general anthropometric characteristics. Examining the relationship between these two parameters may provide useful information on variation in body proportions among young adults. The study will assess chest circumference and body height among young adults and determine the nature and strength of the relationship between the two measurements. Chest circumference will be measured at a standardized thoracic level, while body height will be obtained using an appropriate standardized standing-height procedure. The study will also examine the distribution and variation of the measurements within the selected population. A cross-sectional descriptive research design will be adopted for the study. Young adults who meet the established eligibility criteria will be selected using an appropriate sampling technique.
